LLC, was established as a full service rehabilitation
provider in response to significant changes in the
rehabilitation industry brought about by the Balanced
Budget Act of 1997.

Alliance Rehab-HVA, is a full service rehabilitation provider operating in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Alliance
Rehab-HVA is a joint venture between Healthcare Ventures
Alliance of Northwest Pennsylvania, Health Resource
Alliance of Chicago, Illinois and the Presbyterian
homes, Inc. (PHI) of Camp Hill, PA. Alliance
Rehab-HVA was created in March of 2001. The decision to form Alliance
Rehab-HVA was based upon the desire of HVA members to control the quality, price and outcomes of their rehabilitation services.

worlds: establish an "in-house" atmosphere with a "facility/therapist family," benefit from the risk-sharing, variable cost advantages (driven by PPS) of outsourcing via contractual rehab services, and maintain control over quality."
