ONE DAY

"ServSafe Training & Certification Program,

              Erie, PA"

“SAFE AND SANITARY FOOD PRACTICES”

"
This ServSafe Program will provide you the resources needed to keep food safety as an essential ingredient in every meal"

  • Effective July 1, 2004, food establishments have must have one certified supervisory employee per establishment.

  • The certified manager does not need to be present during all hours of business.

  • New employees will have 90 days from starting employment to become certified.

  • ServSafe is a state approved program

  • ServSafe Recertification is required every 5 years and is based on completion of training course (exam is not required for recertification)

Food safety training is a commitment, a mindset and a smart business practice for every foodservice operation.  It is critical that every person in an operation meets today’s food safety practice demands.

Food safety training doesn’t end with certification. In fact that is where it begins - by implementing food safety practices on a daily basis.
