Many of the issues that most of us are facing today surround the care of our older loved-ones. A host of services exist within our communities to assist with those issues including the social services departments within each of the HVA member organizations. Social Workers are a valuable resource not just for information regarding long-term care and assisted living but also for those services that help older adults remain at home. Many of those services are provided by HVA organizations such as Adult Day Care and Home and Community Based Services. Don’t hesitate to call an HVA Social Services Department.
